Jota was injured in the 2-0 Champions League win over Inter in midweek, while Firmon, who replaced the game and scored a goal, suffered a muscle injury. Poor meat helped the team win the ufabet game 3-1 at Norwich City last weekend.
Asked about Jota and Firmino’s availability, Klopp said: “Yes, it’s too early. I don’t even know if I have to wait until the last minute to make a decision. As I said, it’s too early.”
“I saw both of them today, they look great – but they always look good. We have to look at specific problems and how to solve them. But we will try everything we can.”
The 43-cap Super Eagles international missed four Leicester games last month through his participation at the African Cup of Nations.
The Foxes are enduring their first real slump under Rodgers since his appointment in 2019.
Leicester sit 11th in the Premier League after failing to win in any of their last five top-flight games.
Their FA Cup defence is already over following an embarrassing 4-1 fourth-round defeat against Nottingham Forest earlier this month.
